The funeral of Mrs. George Dorsey was held at the home of Mirs. Dorsey at 2 pm. The Rev. Tenant of Empire officiating. Mrs. Dorsey had been ailing for some time but the end came rather unexpectedly. Mrs. Dorsey had been a resident of the Glen Lake region all her life, being the daughter of the Wickhams, early pioneers living at the Narrows. She was a gentle gracious lady and will be sorely missed by her family and friends. The funeral was a large one, people coming from near and far to pay their last respects to one who had resided in their midst so long. The words spoken by Mr. Tennant were extremely well chosen and comforting, and the singing very lovely. The many beautiful flowers testified of the place she had made for herself in the affections of her friends and neighbors. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
