Etta M "Zett" Beer, age 86, died Friday June 27th at 5:04 p.m. at Adams County Memorial Hospital. She was born December 3rd, 1916 to Elmer and Minerva (Fleetwood) Anspaugh both deceased. She was married on June 2, 1948 to Raymond Beer (Deceased). He died in 1990, Etta was former employee at Kirsch Drug Store, Berne. She was also a volunteer at Swiss Valley. She also worked at Decatur General Electric Company. She was active in her church helping out with Sunday school and bible school whenever she could. She is survived by her daughter Sherry (Richard) Caldwell, Winter Haven, Florida and her son Larry Beer, Lynchburg, VA. She is survived by three sisters Clarice Hill, Decatur, Anne Smith, Decatur, Barbara Church, Fort Wayne. She also has a brother and a sister who are both deceased. She has six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Cross United Church of Christ at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday July 1st. The calling will be held Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 1 hour prior to the church service.
