Ethel Murl Babcock, 91, died Friday, August 3, 1990 at home.
She was born October 5, 1898 in Moore Township, Sanilac County.
She married Franklin Jennigs Babcock November 29, 1917 in Moore Township, Michigan. He passed away June 12, 1969.
Mrs. Babcock was a member of the Sandusky Methodist Church and the Women’s Society.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Bonnie) Bennett of Sandusky; Virginia Wills of Jackson, and Marion Rich of Sandusky; one son and daughter-in-law, Lanny and Gudrum Babcock of Sandusky; fifteen grandchildren; thirty one great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; four sisters, Vera Poe of Pontiac, Erma Dunn of Oxford, Mrs. Leo (Marjorie) Czewski of Sandusky and Mrs. James (Angeles) Rozencrantz of Higgins Lake; one brother, Clare Dorman of Snover; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Francis Cole and Hazel Teets; and one brother, Earl Clapsaddle.
Service were held August 6, 1990 at Sandusky Methodist Church, with Rev. Lousie Ott officiating.
Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
