Mrs. May Clapsadle, 74, passed away Fri, Nov 12, in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Stocks in Maple Valley Township where she was spending the day.
The former Ethel May King was born in Canada, Feb 24, 1880. She and Marshall Clapsaddle were married Jan 28, 1921 in Pontiac and have lived in Brown City most of their married life.
Mrs. Clapsaddle was a member of Brown City Rebekah Lodge No 342.
Survivors are her husband; two daguthers, Mrs. Guy Rachar, of Rochester, and Mrs. Newell Morgan, Port Huron; a brother, Bert King, Imlay City; three sisters, Mrs. John Clark, Deford, Mrs. George Godden, Capac, and Mrs. Howard Hardy, Williamston; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Remains were in the family home in Brown City where funeral services were conducted at 2pm Mon Rev. Harold Blakely, pastor of Burnside Evangelical Church, officiated.
Burial was in Omard Cemetery.
