Ethel L Hardt, 75, died Thu, Jun 27, 1996 at the Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.
She was born Aug 21, 1920 in Leroy Township, the daughter of Lester T. and Mary L. (Terrill) Laberteaux. On Jan 4, 1941 she married Rolland Hardt in Munity.
Mrs. Hardt had lived in the Mancelona area for the last 13 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Waterloo. Her favorite pastimes were quilting, fishing, and watching or listening to Tiger baseball games.
She is survived by her husband and his children Glenda Wahl and husband Les of Waterloo, Delores Boos and her husband Paige of Gregory, Lois Armstrong and husband Jim of Mason, Carole Ray and husband of Tom of Lansing, Patricia Wood of Mason; three sisters, Verna Mills of Stockbridge, Bernice Morrison of Tucson, Thelma Bott and husband Max of Jackson, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Yvonne Sue Hardt in 1976, one brother Dale Laberteaux and one sisters, Beatrice Larner.
Funeral services were held Mon, Jul 1, 1996 at Caskey-Mitchell funeral Home with Rev. Larry Nichols and Rev. Kathy Groff officiating. Burial will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the American Cancer Society or First United Methodist Church of Waterloo.
