Estella Willis, 93, formerly of Marion and Kalkaska, died Mon, Sep 20, 1999, at Hoyt Nursing Home in Saginaw.
She was born Jun 14, 1906, to Martin and Emma (Schmidt) Ebling in Silver Creek, NY. She was one of 15 Children in the Ebling family. She married Howard (Fuzzy) Willis, who preceded her in death on Nov 9, 1973.
Mrs. Willis was a homemaker, living in Marion and Kalkaska. She attended the Marion United Methodist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher.
Survivors include daughter Sally J (Darrell) Bell-Matthias of Kalkaska, and Judith Ann Willis of Scotsdale, AZ; grandchildren Barbara French of Marine City, Penny (Brian) Flynn of Australia, Howard (Mary Jo) Snider of Grand Fork, ND, Rod (Julie) Bell of Cleveland, OH, Brent (Lisa) Bell of Kalkaska, Cheri Glenn and Bradley Glenn of AZ; great grandchildren Jason and Sydney Vandell Jr, Dana Flynn, Brian Scott, and Jamie Tashjain, Eric and William Bell, Zach and Heidi Bell, Michelle and Natasha Send, and Shawn and Gabrielle Send.
Funeral services were Sep 23 at the Fosnaught Funeral Home in Marion; Rev. Howard Harvey officiated. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery, Marion. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marion United Methodist Church Building Fund.
