Eroll W. Graydon, 91, of Kalkaska, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2008 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. Born on March 28, 1917 in Flint, he was the son of the late Clifton and Violet (Huble) Graydon.
Eroll graduated from Kalkaska High School where he enjoyed baseball, basketball, and track. He was a veteran serving our country during WWII in the US Army. He married Nellie Rosenberg on March 28, 1941 in Kalkaska. Eroll owned Graydon Service Station in Kalkaska for 37 years. He also liked to fish, hunt and run the family business. Eroll was a member of Kalkaska Church of Christ and the VFW Post 8684.
Surviving Eroll is his wife, Nellie of 67 years; his son, John E. Graydon of Kalkaska; his sister Veona L. Dinnan of Clio; his grandchildren, Don Graydon and Ketie Graydon.
Eroll was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn Christine Foust; and his siblings, Duwane Graydon, Veryl Graydon and Colleen Waltrip.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3rd from 3:00 until 8:00 pm at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements were made by Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home, our family serving yours.
