Mrs. Emma Setter, 69, widow of Nicholas Setter, resident here many years, died in Nellie Scott Rogers Memorial Hospital Thursday after a day’s illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm. Saturday in the Methodist Church. Rev. Alfred Hunter, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Omard Cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of William Setter Post No. 2943, Veterans of Foreign Wars, named in honor of Mrs. Setter’s son, who was killed in WWI. Mrs. Setter is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ted Harvey, Brown City; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Morrison, Flint; four brothers, Earnest, William and Marshall Clapsaddle, all of Brown City, and Albert Clapsaddle, Peck, and two grandchildren. Her husband died in 1937. Mrs. Setter was born Jan 27, 1876, in Flynn Township. Mr. and Mrs. Setter were married Oct 31, 1897 in Sandusky.
