Elmer H. Wade, 84, formerly of 1005 61st St, late of the Brookside Care Center died there Tuesday (Jul 11, 1989).
The son of the late William and Anastasia (Waters) Wade, he was born Jun 21, 1905, in Kenosha.
He attended school locally.
On Aug 26, 1931, in Kenosha, he married Florine Fegan.
He formerly owned and operated Elmer's Uptown Restaurant and Bar for many years. he then was a salesman for Kenosha Beef International for 16 years, retiring in 1967.
He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Eagles Lodge 1065, and the Tavern League.
Surviving are his wife: a son, Robert, Kenosha; a daughter Mrs. Boyd (Susan) Horsley, Kenosha; a brother, Ralph, also of Kenosha; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William, and two sisters, Anna Wade and Margurete Wenman.
