Elmer “Red” E. Hupp, Jr., age 71, of Walker, passed into the arms of angels on Sun, May 30, 2004. Preceded in death by his sister, Marguerite Simmons. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his devoted wife of 53 years, Donna; daughters, Cheryl (Robert) Raabe and Lori (Ron) Webber; grandchildren, Valerie (Andy) Drier, Lindsey Webber, Robert Raabe, and Ryan Webber; his sisters, Marie Campbell and Jackie Pojeski. Elmer, at age 30, was Walker’s first and youngest planning/city and fire commissioner, faithfully serving the city for 22 years. He participated in the formation of the City of Walker and remained a dedicated citizen of Walker. His remaining free time was served as a manufacturing representative of office furniture sales for 35 years. Elmer was a long time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He will always remain in our hearts. Funeral and Committal services will be held Wed 1pm at the funeral home. Interment Rosedale Cemetery. His family will receive visitors Tue 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Chapel, 3525 Remembrance Rd. NW. Memorials are suggested to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
