Ellen M. Tucker, 81, of Kalkaska, died Mon, Nov 13, 2000 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Mrs. Tucker was born in Kalkaska Aug 30, 1919, to William Wallace and Dorothy (Nelson) Simonson. On Sep 28, 1940 in Traverse City, she was united in marriage to Donald Tucker, who preceded her in death Feb 14, 1949.
Prior to her retirement, Ellen was employed as a secretary at Consumers Power Company in Traverse City. She enjoyed playing the piano, crocheting, cooking, and baking.
Surviving are son in law, Alan Seeley of Rapid City; granddaughter Cassie (Brian) Allen of Big Rapids; great grandson Nathan Allan; three nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Bonnie Seeley and two infant sons.
A service honoring the life of Ellen Tucker was held Fri, Nov 17 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. David McCool, pastor of the Kalkaska Church of the Nazarene, officiated. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
