Mrs. Elizabeth E. Vyverberg, 84, of South Boardman, died Mon, Mar 28, 1994, at her residence.
Mrs. Vyverberg spent her summers at Bass Lake from 1952 until 20 years ago when she moved here permanently from South Holland, IL. She and her husband formerly owned and operated the Bass Lake Resort. Mrs. Vyverberg was very artistic, and enjoyed painting with oils and water colors. She was a member of the East Boardman United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Vyverberg was born in South Holland, IL, on Jan 17, 1910, to Anthony and Eva Dalenberg Jacobs. On Jun 27, 1936, in South Holland, she was married to William Vyverberg, who preceded her in death on Sep 12, 1983.
Surviving are two sons, James Vyverberg of Portage and Donald Vyverberg of South Boardman; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
one brother, William Jacobs, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wed, Mar 30, 1994, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Gary Wales will officiate.
