Elizabeth S. Nolff, 90, of South Boardman, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Dec 1, 2005. at home.
Born on Jul 13, 1915, in Detroit, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth (Erdelyi) Slivka. Elizabeth graduated valedictorian from Bellville High School in Bellville.
Elizabeth married Arthur C. Nolff on Jun 24, 1933, in Detroit. Together, they moved to South Boardman in 1942 from Sumpter.
She enjoyed bowling, gardening, fishing, and most importantly spending time with her family. She was a Gold Star Mother of the American Legion.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur on Oct 10, 1992; sons, Stanley, John, and Dan; one grandchild, Valerie; and two great grandchildren.
Surviving Elizabeth are her daughters, Kathleen Elenbaas of Manistee, June Beebe of Kalkaska, Betty (Wayne) Ingersoll of Fife Lake, Darlene (Dennis) Windish of Central Lake, and Sue (Caleb) Horton of South Boardman; 20 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation was slated for Sun, Dec 4, from 5 to 8 pm at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. The funeral service was to be on Mon, Dec 5, at 1 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Boardman Township Cemetery.
