Eleanor C. Dakin, 76, of Kalkaska died Fri, Sep 17, 1993, at Munson Medical Center, Traverse City.
She was born Feb 24, 1917, in Flint, the daughter of Wilbur and Velvie (Beaufore) Bowsher. She had been a resident of Kalkaska for the past 45 years.
She was a registered nurse, having graduated from Hurley School of Nursing in Flint. She owned and managed Cedar Beach Resort of Manistee Lake and was a member of C.E.T.A. Surviving are her husband Howard, two daughters, Carol and husband Errol Lee of Boyne Falls and Janet and husband Frank Stokes of New Smyrna, FL; one sister, Arlene Green of Boyne Falls; and five grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time. Memorials may be directed to the Kalkaska Public Library. Arrangements were made by the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Home.
