- William Boyce, 69, of Frank Gay Rd, Marcellus passed away on Friday. Born in Batavia, NY, he graduated from Oakfield Alabama Central High School and then Alfred State in 1961. Bill served in the Army during the Korean War and later in the reserves. Bill retired in 1992 after 31 years as a Service Manager with IBM in Syracuse. His hobbies included the Syracuse-Geddes Microd Quarter Midget Club, CNY Mini Sprints, Empire State Dwarf Car Assoc. and ARCS. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Virginia “Ginny” (Longyear); two sons, Timothy W. (Kimberly) of Oswego and Daniel E. (Meghan) of Baldwinsville; two sisters, Jancie Chamberlain of Oakfield, NY and Shirley Mapes of Waterport, NY; two grandchildren Elizabeth and Michael. Services are 11 am Wednesday at B.L. Bush & Sons, 10 Genesee St, Camillus. Calling hours are 4 to 7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Spring burial in Highland Cemetery. Contributions in lieu of flowers to American Lung Assoc, 506 E.
