Edward W. Steinecer, 69, of Kalkaska, died Sat, Sep 28, 1991 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Steinecker moved to Kalkaska from Detroit in 1970. He retired from the Formcraft Tool Company in 1983, and was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Kalkaska.
Mr. Steinecker was born in Detroit on Jun 30, 1922 to Carl and Sophie Keck Steinecker. On Nov 12, 1942, in Detroit, he was married to Mary Floro who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Kenneth of Wyandotte, and William of Vandalia; three daughters, Norma Fini of Dearborn Heights, Darlene Schumacher of Farmington Hills, and Margaret Walker of Dearborn ; four sisters, Amelia Miller of Farmington Hills, Elsie Dowling of Allen Park, Helen Dodich of TX, and Dorothy Bliss of Farmington; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
One brother William, preceded him in death.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tue, Oct 1, 1991 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Father Patrick J Barrett officiated. Burial was in Coldsprings Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
