Edward J. Dedene, 82, of Brown City, died Saturday, July 23, 2005 in Yale.
He was born August 4, 1922, in Detroit, to Emeric and Zulma(Degrave) Dedene.
He served in the Army during World War II. In 1946, he married Ruth and they farmed together. He also worked at Almont Manufacturing for over 30 years. He had been an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Brown City. He was a member of the Over 50 Club and was a volunteer for Project Blessing.
He is survived by his daughter Betty McClelland of Sandusky, son Edward A. Dedene of Brown City; six grandchildren Pam (Bill) Thompson of Sandusky, Paul (Drema) McClelland of Croswell, Brenda (Don) Hartel Jr. of Applegate, Marsha Gibbard of Lapeer, Chad Dedene of Marlette, Brian McClelland of Sandusky; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Ruth; parents and sister Jean Rumsey.
