Edward D. Campbell, 64, of Fife Lake, died Saturday, August 12, 1995, at his residence.
Mr. Campbell spent his early years in the Fife Lake area, and then moved to Lansing where he was employed by Oldsmobile – Lansing B.O.C. Following his retirement seven years ago, he returned to Kalkaska County. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of Kalkaska United Methodist Church. He enjoyed farming, hunting, and fishing.
Mr. Campbell was born in Missaukee County on September 22, 1930, to Wayne and Nellie Stampfler Campbell. On May 8, 1954, in Grayling he married Georgiana Lutz who survives. Also surviving are sons: Richard of Lansing and David of Fife Lake; daughters, Connie Pitcher of Columbia, TN and Diane Norman of Fife Lake; sister, Jeanette Daft of Holt; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
One brother William, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 15, at the wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Charles VanLente, pastor of the United Methodist Church officiated. Burial in Garfield Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
