Edward C. Milazzo, 83, died Wed, Sep 2, 1998, at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire.
Funeral services were Sep 5 at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Mancelona; Father R. Dale Magoon officiated. Internment was in St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery, Kalkaska.
Edward was born Sep 23, 1914, in Detroit, the son of Vincenzo and Frances (Butaro) Milazzo. In 1937, he married Theresa Spisz, who died Sep 20, 1994. On Apr 13, 1996, in Mancelona, he married Anne Ulinski Baldwin.
Edward worked for General Motors at the Fisher Body Tech Center in Warren. He retired in 1970, and moved to Mancelona the next year. He was a member of UAW Local 160 in Warren and CETA. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Edward is survived by wife Anne Milazzo of Mancelona, sons David S. (Beverly) Milazzo of Shelby Township and Edward A (Kathy) Milazzo of Winslow, AZ; 15 grandchildren; step daughters Halina (Ralph) Ciccotelli of Gaylord, Maryann (Wiley) Brooks of Anchorage, AK, Janice Walczy of Warren, and Anne Marie Dunn of Eastpointe; 13 step grandchildren; and 15 step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers Vincent and Steve Milazzo.
Memorials may be given to St. Anthony Catholic Church in Mancelona. The family was served by the Paullin-Penzien Funeral Home in Mancelona.
