Mrs. Edna Leitow, 91, a resident of the Kalkaska and Mancelona areas since 1975, died Mon, Jun 1, 1992, at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire.
Mrs. Leitow resided in the Flint area prior to moving here. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, and enjoyed sewing.
Mrs. Leitow was born in Saginaw County on Sep 29, 1900 to Adelbert and Rose Koepke Savage. On Feb 15, 1919, in Chesaning, she was married to Edward C. Leitow. He preceded her in death on Jul 27, 1984.
Surviving are two sons, Edward Leitow, Jr of Mancelona, and Ronald Leitow of Kalkaska; two brothers, Floyd Savage and Leo Savage both of Montrose; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren.
One daughter, Virginia Dragoo, preceded her in death.
Memorials services were held Jun 6, 1992, at the Mancelona Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Michael Snyder officiated. Burial was in Coldsprings Township Cemetery.
