Mrs. Edna N. Hayward, 81, resident of the community all her life, died Thursday in her home after a short illness.
She was born March 30, 1885, in Brown City, daughter of Alex and Margaret Seaton.
She and Isaac Hayward were married Sept 7, 1904, in Brown City and they farmed in Maple Valley Township until they moved back to Brown City.
Mr. Hayward died July 6, 1951.
Mrs. Hayward was a member of the Brown City United Missionary Church.
She is survived by two brothers Russell Seaton, Yale, and Guy Seaton, Mio, an several nieces and nephews.
Remains were in Carman Funeral Home where services were held Sunday.
The Rev. Harold Burgess, pastor of Brown City United Missionary Church officiated.
Burial was in Omard Cemetery.
