Edna A. Hittle, 92, of Kalkaska, passed away peacefully on Aug. 1, 2003, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center in Kalkaska.
She was born on Sept. 13, 1910, in Kalkaska, the daughter of Daniel and Mabel (Dean) Krepps.
Edna married James Hittle on Sept. 18, 1961, in Chicago, IL.
Edna is survived by her children, Gary (Sally) White of Fife Lake and Doreen Bennett of Belding; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great- grandchildren; sister, Edith Sieting of Kalkaska and brothers, Donald (Frances) Krepps of Lansing and Russell (Zelda) Krepps of Kalkaska.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband, James; grandson, Robert Bennett Jr.; a daughter-in-law; and her seven brothers and sisters.
Visitation was at Wolfe Funeral Home. The funeral service was held Aug. 4 at the funeral home with the Rev. William Kuiper of the Evergreen Bible Baptist Church officiating. Interment was at Lodi Cemetery.
Memorials may be given in behalf of Edna to Kalkaska County Commission on Aging.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
