- Earl Clapsadel, Ohio regional sales manager for Johns-Mansville Sales Corp., died yesterday in St. Luke’s Hospital. He was 64.
Mr. Clapsadel had been sales manager for the district office since 1932. He had been an employee of Johns-Mansville for 41 years.
Born in Sandusky, Mich., he attended Cleary College. For many years Mr. Clapsadel lived in Shaker Heights. His residence recently was at 25365 Bryden Road, Beachwood.
He was a member of the Canterbury Club and a former Member of the Cleveland Athletic Club.
Mr. Clapsadel is survived by his wife, Christine, six sisters and a brother, and his mother, Mrs. Lillian Dorman of Sandusky, MI.
Services will be at 1:30pm Tuesday at the Millard Son & Raper Funeral Home, 11203 Fairhill Road S.E. Burial will be in Mt. Clements, Mich.
The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
