Edith Katherine Sly, who lived in Yacolt for 30 years before moving to Oregon, died Thursday in Eugene.
The 75-year old was born in Traverse City, MI on Jan 19, 1905. The homemaker was a member of Rebekah Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star, both of Yacolt. She last resided at 1228 Doborout in Myrtle Point.
Private services were held Saturday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Herman Barkman officiating.
Mrs. Sly is survived by one son, Jack Case of Portland; two daughters, Donna Waterman of Myrtle Point, OR and Pat Lindsay of Vancouver; two brothers, Albert and Robert Mirovsky, both of Michigan; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
