Earl M. Cronce, 79, of 4322 First Street, Brown City, died unexpectedly Wednesday in his home.
He was born Dec 11, 1895, in Croswell, and lived most of his life in Brown City.
He married Miss Frances Clark Dec 5, 1915, in Omard. Mr. Cronce served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWI.
He was a life member of Brown City Lodge No 127, I.O.O.F. and a member of Gleaners Society.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Leland Cronce, Brown City, and Julian Cronce, Southgate; five daughters, Mrs. Ruth Dedene, Brown City, Mrs. Helen Wolvin, Mt. Morris, Mrs. Neva Meyers, Port Huron, Mrs. Lila Chandler, Melvin, and Mrs. Olive Perry, Richmond; 35 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
The remains are in Carman Funeral Home, Brown City, where services will be conducted at 1:30 pm Saturday.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
