Memorial services for Dr. E. Bruce Foster, former chief of staff of Providence Hospital, will be held at 8 pm Thu at the Adeline Fisher Center at the hospital.
Dr. Foster, 66, died there Saturday.
He received his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario in London in 1932 and completed his internship and residence at Providence Hospital.
During his 40 year career, he was president of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Society of Michigan. He was, for many years, a member of Plum Hollow Golf and Country Club.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; three daughters, Mrs. Judith Corbett, Mrs. Joan Earp, and Mrs. Deborah Anderson; a son, Robert, and seven grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Michigan Heart Association, 16130 W. Twelve Mile Rd, Southfield, or the Providence Hospital Research Foundation.
