E. Don Hubble, 78, of Kalkaska, a retired millwright, died Thu, Oct 10, 1991 at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Hubble moved to Kalkaska in 1949 from Saginaw. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and was a life member of Land O'Lakes Post 8684, V.F.W. He had been a member of Millwright Local 1102 for 41 years, and enjoyed hunting and cards.
Mr. Hubble was born in Sharon on Nov 16, 1912 to Emery and Maud Ehl Hubble. On Jun 10, 1937, in Saginaw, he was married to Helen McIntosh who survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Garry Hubble of Venice, CA, Donald Hubble of Atlanta, GA, Dennis Hubble of Kawkawlin, and Michael Hubble and Pat Hubble both of Bay City; one daughter, Susan Vowels of Kalkaska; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Two brothers and one granddaughter, Karra Hubble, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Sat, Oct 12, 1991 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Fr. Patrick J Barrett, pastor of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church officiated. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
