Dustin D. Day, 8, of Kalkaska, died Tue evening, Mar 23, 1993, at Munson Medical Center of injuries suffered in a truck-bicycle accident near his home.
Dustin was a resident of Marion until three years ago when he moved to Kalkaska.
At the time of his death he was a third grade student at Birch Street Elementary School, and enjoyed basketball, bike riding, and skating.
Dustin was born in Cadillac on Mar 30, 1984.
Surviving are his parents, Laura Huntley of Kalkaska and Wallace Snellenberger of Lake; two brothers, Wayne Thompson Jr and Johnny Thompson, both of Marion; three sisters, Laurie Thompson of St. Johns, Dawn Thompson of Dodge City, and Deanna Huntley of Kalkaska; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Snellenberger of Harrison; his adopted father, Carl Goodrich of Kalkaska; 10 nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Delos Day, Sr.
Funeral services were held Fri, Mar 26, 1993, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska.
Pastor Walter Skrine officiated. Cremation followed funeral services.
