Duane E. (Doc) Daugherty, 56, of Mancelona, died Mon, Jan 16, 1995, at Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Mr. Daugherty had been a resident of Kalkaska County for the past 22 years. For the past 10 years, he had been a self-employed trucker, and prior to that was part owner of E.O.D. Hot Oiler Service. He enjoyed stock car racing.
Mr. Daugherty was born in Midland County on Oct 29, 1938, to Earl and Vivian Powell Daugherty. On Mar 30, 1963, in Owensville, IN, he married Linda Vaupel who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Dean Daugherty of Kalkaska and Todd Daugherty of Mancelona; one brother Eddie Daugherty of Barryton; and three grandchildren, Chelsea Jacklyn and Joel.
Funeral services were held Sat, Jan 21, 1995, at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Dr. Marc Graham officiated. Burial will be in Excelsior Township Cemetery in the spring.
