Dorothy Mae Bishop, age 87 of Laingsburg, passed away on Sun, Jan 27, 2008 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held at Laingsburg First Baptist Church on Tue, Jan 29, 2008 at 11 am. Visitation will be at the Church on Mon 6 to 9 pm. Pastor Steve Brown will officiate with burial at Crestwood Cemetery in Grand Blanc, MI.
Mrs. Bishop was born on Nov 19, 1920 in Flint, MI, the daughter of William K & Flossie H (McComber) Fuller. She was married to Harold H Bishop in Flint on Jun 8, 1948. He preceded her in 1998. She was a foster care parent. She is survived by her 2 children: Joan E (Alan) Chandler of Lovelock, NV and Richard (Rita) Bishop of Laingsburg. 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Marjorie Behnke of Swartz Creek and Irma Warr of Yukon, OK. She was predeceased two children, Arlene Bishop and Larry H Bishop and one granddaughter, Meredith Bishop Hungerford and by her sister, Audrey Sadler.
