Dorothy Lynette Schram, 64, of Mancelona passed into eternal peace at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center's Long Term Care on Tue, Mar 28, 2006, due to complications of diabetes.
Dorothy was born Jun 21, 1941, in Port Huron to Effie and Avon Schram.
She graduated from Port Huron High School and Michigan College of Cosmetology. She was coowner of Korner Kurl Beauty Shop in Lexington.
She was amember of Kalkaska United Methodist Church and former member of the Williamsbug and Central Lake Methodist Church.
Dorothy is survived by her brother, Douglas Schram of Kalkaska; sister in law, Linda Schram of Mancelona; aunt, Jean Stoutenburg of Port Huron; nieces Heather and Dan Colombo; nephew, Shawn and Kelly Schram; great nieces and nephews, Amanda Schram, Nicholas Colombo, Kristen and Taylor Schram, all of Kalkaska; and nephew Scott Schram of Port Huron.
Also surviving are the extended families of Weslet and Kathy Wagester, Ray and Robie Wagester, Dean and Ellen Wagester, and their children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Effie and Avon Schram; and best friend, Virginia Wagester.
Per her wishes cremation has taken place through the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
A memorial service was to be held on Sat, Apr 8, 2006, at 11 am at the Kalkaska United Methodist Church.
