Mrs. Dorothy E. McNutt, 78, of Kalkaska, died Wed, Aug 25, 1999, at her home.
Mrs. McNutt had been a resident of Kalkaska County for the past five years, having moved from Redford. She was a member of the Bear Lake Christian Church and the Elks Lodge, and was a loving mother, and grandmother who enjoyed her family and golfing.
Born in Paterson, NJ on Sep 11, 1920, she is the daughter of Ernest and Olga (Durenberger) Ferdinand. On Oct 2, 1943, she was united in marriage with Adam McNutt Jr in Montgomery, AL. He survives.
Also surviving are son Adam (Sandi) McNutt of Frankenmuth; daughter Carol (David) Rosenberg of Kalkaska; sister Claire Osborne of Paterson; grandchildren Kevin and Denise McNutt of Grandville, Kimberly and John Blacklock of Redford, and John and Christine Goll of Fort Myers, FL; great grandson Adam McNutt of Grandville; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral services were Aug 29 at Bear Lake Christian Church. Pastor David Rosenberg officiated.
