Mrs. Dorothy C. Schlink, 92, of Kalkaska, died Mon, May 26, 1997, at her home.
Mrs. Schlink recently moved to Kalkaska from Bradenton, FL, where she had resided for the past 27 years. She had lived in Saginaw, and then owned and operated a motel in Naubinway before moving to Florida.
Born in Saginaw on Mar 3, 1905, she was the daughter of Russell and Della Owern Braman. On Apr 16, 1927, in Saginaw, she married Ralph Schlink who preceded her in death on Aug 26, 1991.
Surviving are daughter Judy Schlink of Kalkaska; brothers Clyde (Ivy) Braman of Saginaw and Don (Virginia) Braman of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews, including Dorothy Owen of Saginaw; and close friends Mayna and Bill Austin of Mt. Pleasant.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and seven brothers.
Memorial services were held Thu, May 29, 1997 at the Family of God Christian Fellowship in Kalkaska. Pastor Dave DeRouchie officiated.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Activities Department at Tendercare of Gaylord.
