Eleanor Muir, age 60, formerly of Brown City, died at home Dec 25, 1995.
She was born Jul 1, 1935 in Brown City, a daughter of Oris and Viola Bentley. She graduated from Brown City High School and married Alfred Muir.
A housewife, mother, she also had farmed and was owner of RuThad, a shop that made square dancing clothing. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brown City for many years. She was a lifetime member of the Charlie’s Angels square dance club of Lapeer. She was very proud of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother, Viola Bartle and two children, Dana Muir of Troy and Darryl (Dianne) Muir of Marshall, 2 grandchildren; former husband, Alfred of Port Huron; 2 sisters, Pat Hunt of Peck and Dorothy Metzer of Garden City.
Services were held Thu, December 28, 1995 in the Carman Funeral Home in Brown City.
