Donna Elaine Carey, 67, of Warba, passed away Thu, Apr 10, 2008 in Grand Itasca Hospital, Grand Rapids, MN.
Donna was born in 19401 to Paul and Ethel Havens. On November 30, 1957, she married Jerome David Carey in Grand Rapids, MN. Donna was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church of Warba, the American Legion Auxiliary Post 432, and a past director of the Warba-Goodland Food Shelf for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and baking for friends and family.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; grandsons, Anthony Hagy and Travis Tepley; and her husband, Jerry.
Survived by her daughters, Debra (Dan) Carlson of Forest City, IA, Dawn (Jim) Tepley of Browerville, MN; her sons, David “Toby” Carey of Warba, MN, Derek (Nancy) Carey of Warba, MN; nine grandchildren, Brian Hagy; Nicole, Kara, Ahsley, and Cassie Carey; Blake and Misty Myers; Kyle (Miranda) Tepley and Heather (Scott Carry; three great grandsons, Kaden Hagy, Thomas and Cody Carry; sisters, Ramona (Lloyd) McGuire of Brainerd, MN, Ellen (Leo) O’Brien of Warba, MN, Pat (Bob) Woody of Grand Rapids, MN, Peggy (Jerry) Roberts of Kelly Lake, MN, Linda (Ed) Winkleblack of Comanche, OK; brothers, Russ (Marge) Havens of Summerville, SC, Larry (Char) Havens of Taconite, MN; sister in Law, Pat (Lyle) Walstad of White Bear Lake, MN; brother in law, Dan (Carol) Carey of Warba, MN; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4-6pm on Sun, Apr 13, at the Rowe Funeral Home in Grand Rapids and will continue on Mon, Apr 14 from 10am until the Funeral Service at 11am at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Warba, MN. Rev. Loren Anderson-Bauer will officiate.
