Donald L. Elliott, 72, of Fife Lake, passed away on Sun, Sep 19, 2010 surrounded by his loving family at home. He was born on Aug 1, 1938 in Springfield Twp, the son of the late Eben Freida (Byrd) Elliott.
Don married Lucy Beckwith on May 5, 1962 in Fife Lake. He retired from Comstock Construction in Traverse City after 35 years as an operator engineer. Don enjoyed old country music, the casino and going to Springfield Twp Park on Thu nights. Don was the most honest man you will ever meet.
Surviving Don is his wife, Lucy; their children, Hubert Lee (Vicky) Elliott and Brian L Elliott both of Fife Lake; grandchildren, Joe M. Rouse, Jesse L Elliott, Heidi L Elliott; great grandson, Hayden L Elliott; his siblings, Elaine (Al) Coffman of South Boardman and Johanna Whiteford of Acme.
Preceding Don in death are his siblings, Grace Priest, Jim Elliott, Bob Daniels, George Perry, Wilbur Elliott and Lynn Elliott.
The funeral service will be held on Wed, Sep 22, at 2 pm at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Ingersoll officiating. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of service.
