Donald Jack Barber 10/5/1933 – 2/16/2021 Grand Rapids, MI, 87, passed away on Feb 16, 2021 peacefully in his sleep.
Don was born in Grand Rapids and raised by the late Frances (Doc) and Ethel Barber. He was the middle child between Frank (Roseann) Barber of Midland and Carol (Dick) Newville of Irons.
He graduated from Grand Rapids Creston High School then proudly served in the US Navy. After discharge he worked at General Motors Diesel Division for 42 years.
Don loved to travel after retirement and served as campground host throughout the western states and Alaska.
Don will be deeply missed by his children, Scott, Mark, Dennis (Sandy), Betsy and John (Lisa). Grandchildren – Alex, Eric, Sara, Adam, Lisa, Aaron, Paige, Austin, Katy, Stuart. Great grandchildren, Nicoli, Kaleb, Kelsey, Pierce, Skylar and due in April Indy.
