Former Kalkaska resident Donald A. Lapasky, 67, did Jan 14, 1999 in Lakeland, FL.
Mr. Lapasky was born Feb 14, 1931, in Pennsylvania, to Charles and Lucille Lapasky. He retired from the Detroit Police Department in 1978 and was a resident builder and avid hunter.
He was the dear father of Susan (Dean) Bunn, Donald Lapasky, Janis (Steve) Winters; grandfather of nine and great grandfather of seven. Also surviving is his brother, Carl Lapasky, of Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Rosemary.
A memorial service will be held Sun, Jan 24 at Walled Lake United Methodist Church, 313 Northport St in Walled Lake; Pastor Judy May will officiate.
Cremation has taken place, with those arrangements made by Heath Funeral Home of Lakeland.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
