Dennis B Love, of Burton, 72, died on Sat, Jul 29, 2006, at Genesys Hospice Care Center, Goodrich after a short battle with multiple myeloma cancer.
Funeral services were held on Aug 1, at the Brown Funeral Home, Grand Blanc Chapel. Pastor Jerry JJ Stoner officiated. Interment was at Flint Memorial Park.

Love was born on Sep 26, 1933, in Kalkaska, son of Guy and Mary Jane (Kirkendall).
A Korean War veteran, Love served in the US Army. He retired from Chevrolet Motors in 1996 following 40 years of service and was a member of UAW Local No 659.
Love also was a member of Loyal Order of Moose, Grand Blanc Lodge No 2344.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Wilma (nee Broom) Love; children, David (Lucy) Love of Grand Blanc and Sandy (Brian) Drew of Burton; grandchildren, Staci, Ashley, Tiffany, Kalena, Nicholas, Elizabeth, James, and Tommy; sisters, Freda (Harry) Thoren and Virginia Eves, both of Kalkaska; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Love was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
