Deloris E. Simons, 69, of Fife Lake, died Sun, Apr 9, 2000 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
She was born in South Haven Nov 23, 1930, the daughter of Arthur and Ruth Bowles Nation.
Deloris resided in Flint until 1971, when she moved to Fife Lake. She had been employed as a nurses aid and was affiliated with Fife Lake United Methodist Church. She was very artistic, and enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing.
Surviving are sons Lee Simons of Flint and Thomas Simons of Fife Lake; daughters Corrine (Chee Chee) McFadden of Flint and Christine Middaugh of Fife Lake; brothers Arthur Nation of Fife Lake and Robert Nation of Kalkaska; sisters Betty Gondol of Fife Lake, Barbara Parritt of Kalkaska, and Darlene Bullard of Lennon; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Niece Judy Ann Parritt and brothers in law Bud Parritt and Simona Gondol preceded her in death.
Funeral services are at 1 pm Wed, Apr 12 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska, Pastor Dale Lewis ill officiate. Burial will be in Fife Lake Cemetery, Fife Lake.
