Delmar E. Jeffers, 54, rural Minneapolis, died Wednesday at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita from a sudden illness.
He was born Oct 10, 1929, in Lincoln. He moved to a farm north of Minneapolis in 1978 from Alamosa, Colo. He was a farmer and stockman.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Minneapolis, and the Smoky Hill black Powder Society.
He is survived by his wife, Caroline, of the home; a son, John, Minneapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Van Horn, Alamosa; his mother, Mrs. Mary A. Jeffers, Lincoln; three brothers, Keith, Lee’s Summit, MO; Herbert, Pullman, Wash., and Hubert, Kulm, ND; and one granddaughter.
The funeral will be announced by the Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis.
Memorials may be sent to the First Presbyterian Church or the Delphos Ambulance Fund through the Delphos Lions Club.
