Deborah Lynn Malkowski, 52, of Cedarville, died Fri, Aug 9, 2013, at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.
She was born Dec 22, 1960, in Ann Arbor, to Dennis and Joan (nee Westover) Beckman.
Mrs. Malkowski had lived in Cedarville since she was 15 years old. She was a graduate of Cedarville High School.
She had worked as a sales clerk at Hudson’s Hardware and at Cedar Pantry. She also did custodial work at the Cedarville Post Office and most recently at Les Cheneaux Community Schools.
Mrs. Malkowski was an avid reader. She also enjoyed working word puzzles, fishing, hunting, and camping. She was a loving caregiver for her parents and mother in law.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Dale Malkowski; two sons and their families, Michael and Ashley Bickham and Jesse Malkowski, all of Cedarville, and one grandson, Mick Bickham. She is also survived by her mother and stepfather, Joan and William Henderson of Cedarville; a sister and her family, Barbara Bell of Rossville, Georgia, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Beckman, and a brother, Robert Beckman.
Services will be Wed, Aug 14, at 3pm at New Horizons Church of the Nazarene in Pickford with Pastor Craig Weihman officiating. Visitation will be from 1pm until time of the service.
Burial will be in Cedar Cemetery in Cedarville.
Reamer Galer Funeral Home in Pickford is assisting the family with arrangements.
