Deborah Leah Wells, 50, died Fri, May 16, 2008, at her home in Taylor, MI. Debbie was born on Jun 5, 1957 in Kalkaska to Dale and Wilma (Fryhover) Wells.
She was a special child, sent from God, who touched the lives of many people over the course of her lifetime.
In May of 1992, Debbie was adopted by a very special lady, Elaine Flucks, who loved and cared for her as her own.
Debbie was the happiest when doing one of the following: going to church, taking a ride in the motor home or car, playing ball or rocking in her rocking chair. She always enjoyed a good cup of coffee.
Debbie is survived by her birth parents, Dale and Wilma Wells of Kalkaska; her adoptive mother, Elaine Flucks of Taylor; her sister, Lori (Sean) Hegarty of Burlington, Ontario; her nephews, David, Colin, and Alec Hegarty of Burlington, Ontario; her adoptive siblings, Thomas Embach, Michael Rivera, and Andrea Rivera, all of Taylor; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family members, Jack and Deb Stewart and family of Beulah, MI.
She was preceded in death by her adoptive father, Larry Flucks and her adoptive sister, Barbara Childers.
Memorial services were held May 24, 2008, at St Constance Church in Taylor, with Father Leo Sabourin officiating. Debbie's cremains will be placed in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Taylor.
Debbie is safe in the arms of Jesus.
