David L Wilson, 46, of Kalkaska, passed away on Dec 20, 2004, at his home.
Born on Mar 26, 1958 in Saginaw, he was the son of Mason and Doris (Schmitter) Wilson.
David graduated from Bridgeport High School and moved to Kalkaska in 1976. He worked in the oil industry.
David enjoyed car racing and raced at the Merritt Speedway and the Mt Pleasant Speedway with his No 14 car.
David is survived by his children, Scott M Wilson of Kalkaska and Kevin S Wilson of Mancelona; mother, Doris I Wilson of Kalkaska; her brothers and sisters, Guy D (Dorrine) Wilson of Kalkaska, Vickie L (Zachary) Weighman of Williasburg, Karen S Wilson of Kalkaska, and James B Wilson of Hale.
David was preceded in death by his father, Mason; and his twin brother, Brian Wilson.
Visitation was on Tue, Dec 21, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. The funeral service was Wed, Dec 22, at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Rosenberg from the Bear Lake Christian Church officiating.
Interment will be Evergreen Cemetery.
