David L. Ritchards, 53, of Kalkaska, died Tuesday morning, May 16, 1995, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Ritchards had worked on farms, and lived in the Kalkaska area for the past 35 years. He was a loving husband, and a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Mr. Ritchards was born in Thompsonville on May 6, 1942, to Thomas and Pearl Bolton Ritchards. On Jun 12, 1992, in Kalkaska, he married Marily Potter who survives.
Also surviving are stepsons Jerome (Sue) Northrup, III of Grand Rapids, and Buck (Vern) Gibbs of Ludington; stepdaughter, Mrs. Victor (Teletha) Cron of Kalkaska; brothers Ivan of Brimley and Tom; sisters Grace Kogel of Williamsburg, Dorothy Stoops of Benzonia, and Sharon Clark of Panama City, FL; and seven grandchildren.
One brother, Keith, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Thu, May 18, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Pastor David Strammel officiated. Cremation followed funeral services.
