David C. Wylie passed away on Sun, Jan 19, 2020 in Traverse City.
He was born in Muskegon to the late Clarence and Josephine (Janus) Wylie on Dec 14, 1939. On Sep 19, 1964 David married Charlene Hardley.
David served in the US Navy from 1961 to 1966.
David participated in music all of his life (church choir and barbershop). He enjoyed sports, fishing, camping, gardening,and time outdoors.
He loved his God, wife, children, and grandchildren dearly.
David is survived by his wife, Charlene; his daughter, Michele (Tim) Swingle and their children, Benjamin and Aaron; his son, Nathan; his daughter, Heather (Mike) Sullivan their children, Alayna, Trey and Analyn and his son, Aaron (Janelle) Wylie and their children, AJ, Alyssa, Lydia, Jenna, and Daniel. The surviving siblings are Chuck and Sue Wylie, Janice (Ray) LaCourse, Jerry and Carolyn Wylie, Joyce and Phil Steele; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place, Thu, Jan 23, 2020 from 5 to 7 pm at East Bay Calvary Church and Fri, Jan 24, 2020 one our prior to the 11 am service.
David and his family are being cared for by the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
