Berkely Springs, W.Va – Daniel Roy Revell, 63, of Berkeley Springs, died Friday, April 3, 2009, at his home in Tri-Lake Park.
Born Sept. 30, 1945, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Carlton Clifford and Olive Irene Johnson Revell.
He was a graduate of Boonsboro High School.
He retired from Roxbury –MCTC in Sharpsburg as a prison guard.
He was an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.
He was a member of Shockeysville, Va Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Elizabeth Harrell Revell; two daughters, Karen E. Collis of Martinsburg and Dawn M. Fry of Berkeley Springs; one son, Alfred W. Revell of Berkeley Springs; two sisters, Betty Diggins of Hagerstown and Sara Frye of Falling Waters, WV; three brothers, James Revell of Lakeland, Fla., the Rev. Robert Revell of Falling Waters and Alfred Revell of Marshfield, MO; eight grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tina R. Revell; one sister, Ruth Revell and four brothers, David Revell, Billy Revell, Joe Revell and Ben Revell.
A memorial service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Potomac Park Conference Center in Falling Waters. The Revs. Isaac Luttrell and Robert Revell will officiate.
Burial will be private.
