Brown City, July 21 – Daniel Hayward, 67, died this morning in his farm home after a short illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in Brown City Methodist Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Hayward is survived by his widow; five brothers, George, Isaac, and John Hayward, all of Brown City, William Hayward, Eaton Rapids, and Charles Hayward, Sandusky.
Mr. Hayward was born June 28, 1872 in Nivor, Middlesex county, Ont., and came to Michigan with his parents at the age of six. He and the former Hannah Marie Alexander were married Jan. 12, 1910, in Deanville, Mich, and shortly after moved to the farm.
