Dale A. Ringle, Born Dec 5, 1933, in Gratiot County; passed away Feb 15, 1999, at the age of 65, after a courageous battle, surrounded by a loving family to help him walk the last step of the journey along with the Angels of Mercy at Sparrow Hospital.
Dale was employed by Speaker-Hines and Thomas for 42 years. He is at peace with his parents, William "Eli" and Mabel "Babe" Ringle, who preceded hi min death.
He leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Marjorie; 10 children, Darrell (Kay) of Elmira, MI, Dean (Laura) of Houston, TX, Dawn Pollo of Holt, Sharon (Ed) Mello of Sterling Heights, MI, Kevin (Ann) of Columbus, OH, Nancy (Manny) Yoey of Tampa, FL, Wayne (Holly) Smith and Bonnie Alden of Eaton Rapids, Steven (Julie) Smith and Daniel (Susan) Smith of Lansing; 17 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Janet (Jack) Robinson of Lake Wales, FL; brothers, Glen "Gene" (Doris) of Eagle, MI and Roger (Marilyn) of Woodstock, GA; sister in law, Jeanetta (Bill) Dewey of Lansing; brother in law, Dean (Grace) Luke of Sunfield; sister in law, Vivian (Jim) Hagman of Manistique, MI; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thu, Feb 18, 11 am at the First United Methodist Church, 411 Harrison, Grand Ledge, with the Rev. W. J. (Bill) Amundsen officiating. Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Gorsline-Runciman Lansing Chapel , 900 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, beginning Wed 6 pm, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm. The family will also receive friends at the Church on Thu 1 hour prior to the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Church in memory of Dale Ringle.
