Curtis A. Chalcraft, 96, long-time resident of Port Huron and Kalkaska, died Sep 6, 1998 at Luther Manor in Saginaw.
Mr. Chalcraft was born Nov 30, 1901 in Cincinnati, OH. He married Elva Wilson on May21, 1932. She preceded him in death on Mar 26, 1991.
He had been employed by Detroit Edison for 43 years, retiring in 1966. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Port Huron.
Surviving are son James C Chalcraft of Baltimore, MD; daughter Nancy (Dr. Timothy) Smith of Saginaw; grandchildren Amy Smith of Brighton, Jody (Joseph) Greco of Rockford, Betsy (Brent) Phillips of Walled Lake and Molly (Terry) Duimstra of Rockford; great grandchildren Noah and Kelsey Greco.
Funeral services were held Sep 9, at Luther Manor.
